Love Notes

I booked Shaundra after a sorority sister recommended her since she did her wedding of a similar size (300). After searching around on websites, I saw that she had overall favorable reviews. Talking on the phone with Shaundra, I felt at ease and she seemed real and genuine which I liked. It’s super important to click with your planner as you will be contacting them all throughout your engagement. Throughout the process, Shaundra was very helpful. Even though we only booked Shaundra for Day of Planning, she did not hesitate to recommend vendors that I was missing and provided me with comfort in knowing that I hadn’t forgotten the big things. Then as we met about a month before the wedding, she reviewed all of the steps and things that I forgot. She ran the rehearsal perfectly and if there were any issues on the day of, they were handled. For any items that she felt needed my concern, she contacted me and they were handled right away. For example, we were having communion at the ceremony and I completely forgot to get the grape juice and crackers! This was realized about an hour before the ceremony. Calmly Shaundra told me she’d figure something out and sure enough she improvised with a dinner roll and wine from the winery. As simple as they may have seemed, I was thankful she was there to check that off the list while my family and I could rest and enjoy the moments of the day. I would book Shaundra again and again if given the opportunity.

B.Moore Events was a God send! I was completely green to weddings in general and had been researching vendors for months before I found Shaundra. When we spoke by phone, she was so genuinely happy for my then fiance and I over our upcoming marriage. When we met in person, I felt like she and I had been friends for ever! She asked questions to learn about us as a couple and what my vision was for the wedding and she was prepared with ideas and vendors…at our first meeting! As time went on, she handled everything from setting up vendor meetings, handling the behind the scenes issues with vendors so that we did not have to be stressed. We could not have asked for a better company to handle the biggest day of our lives. On 10.11.12, she told me to “Come with a smile. I’ll handle the rest.” And that’s exactly what happened. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Everything was perfect!

Thank you so much for everything you did for Mike and I before, during and after our wedding!  Everything came together so beautifully and flawlessly and that is all thanks to you.  We truly appreciate it!  I learned that weddings take a team to pull off and we had an A+ team with you as the leader!  Again thank you so much for all of your help.  It was absolutely the best day of our lives with your help!

Shaundra was by far the most essential and necessary component to our wedding! From the first time we met with her, she instantly made us feel like our wedding day finally made sense. She turned all of our random ideas, disorganized vendors, and disobedient bridal party members into the wedding day of our dreams. All while being one of the nicest people I have ever met. She went above and beyond — even got us food when we had no time to eat that day! She never made us feel stressed or rushed… our wedding day just happened, and it was just like we imagined. Our wedding was July 30, 2011. Having Shaundra as a planner proved invaluable, especially since we are not from Atlanta and, as a result, were not familiar with the Atlanta bridal market. Shaundra is friendly, upbeat, and a skilled planner. In particular, she recommended a number of top-notch vendors to us (most of which we ended up hiring), tracked down any additional vendors we were interested in meeting with, and was objective when advising us on which vendors we should choose. In addition, Shaundra was incredibly hard working: for example, we arrived in Atlanta the Thursday before the wedding to discover that our florist had simply disappeared two days earlier — with our money nonetheless! Shaundra worked tirelessly to find an even better florist in such a short time period, and the decor was one of the high notes of the evening. Overall, we would recommend Shaundra to other couples looking for a reliable and personable wedding planner.

Shaundra is amazing! I met with other wedding planners and no one compared to her. She was truly able to see the vision I had in mind for my wedding day. I trusted her 100% throughout the wedding planning process and I am so thankful and blessed to have her go above and beyond to make sure everything went well.
